The British Science Awards panel of judges is made up of key authorities in all disciplines of science and technology.

A transparent process determines the winner for each of the categories. The first stage sees the creation of a long list through independent research. A broad based panel of judges, handpicked for their involvement in the scientific community, scores and ranks the nominees against the criteria to determine the winner. These winners are then sent to a high profile endorsement panel for final approval and ratification.

The names of the judges and endorsement panel will be released closer to the date of the awards.
